JPH Photography also known as “ShotByJeff” emerged on to the Atlanta, Georgia fashion & beauty scene in 2013. In a short time, he has garnered the attention of aspiring models & actors, bloggers, major recording artists, publications and fashion enthusiasts alike.
With his traditional use of raw imagery and modern exceptional lighting techniques Jeff’s innate eye for photography captures the essence of each subject’s natural beauty and provides them with an unparallel final result. His personal commitment to excellence is matched only by his professional approach to client satisfaction. The expanding company is strategically positioned to become an industry leader over the next few years and most recently his work was featured in an international “Sneaker Concepts” online magazine advertising campaign geared toward the modern day sneaker connoisseur. The JPH brand was also featured in an editorial feature in the October issue of “Ebony Magazine” the #1 source for an authoritative perspective on the African-American community. He was also the recipient of the 2015 Style Experience “Honoree of Excellence” award. As the ShotByJeff brand continues to grow he had the honor of working with Recording Superstar Lil Wayne during the Sorry 4 The Wait tour, as well as opening day for Justin Bieber’s Purpose Tour. ShotByJeff is also the official promo photographer for Roxy Reynolds, a leader in the adult film industry. Jeff Henderson Photography will be the lens from which the World gets to view Atlanta.
Has it been a smooth road?
Nothing worth having is usually easy however giving up is never the answer.
When you look back, what are you most proud of?
My mother is a huge EBONY Magazine fan… Seeing her reaction to my photo being published in that magazine was amazing. She talked about seeing my name published in there for days.
Were there moments when you had to struggle?
There are always struggles in this industry, the moment you decide to take a day off someone is there working waiting to take your spot so struggles happen daily. You just can’t dwell on them.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Atlanta is amazing! Walking down the street you can meet the newest creative indy artist, or the CEO of a fortune 500 company. The opportunity to network is all around you.
