Today we’d like to introduce you to Byron Wilson Jr.
Byron, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I had a growing interest in beard care products. After experiencing trial and error (mostly error) with other products, I researched and used the knowledge gained to create natural products. My entrepreneurial spirit led me to begin a luxury beard oil company.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Starting any new endeavor is rarely a smooth process. There are definitely personal and professional growing pains along the way. It has been an intriguing journey, to say the least. Although I’m familiar with the city, recently relocating to Atlanta has been a challenge in itself. Therefore, networking is essential and comes naturally due to my personality. So, promotion and marketing while maintaining quality customer service is essential. Lastly, having the right people to assist makes a huge difference.

Lion’s Den Beard Oil Collection has 100% organic products which are carefully crafted to ensure satisfaction. Therefore, the oils and packaging have been meticulously considered. There are two main fragrances: GQ and Lumberjack in addition to combs for grooming. I wanted to focus on product to ensure quality. I am most proud of sharing something I’ve created with others.
What were you like growing up?
Although, it is not quite a childhood memory, I am proud of the fact I am the first in my family to obtain a college degree.
