Meet Caleigh Allen of Ever After Entertainment in Midtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Caleigh Allen.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Caleigh. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
After graduating with a BA in Musical Theatre, I realized my love for performing could take me in so many directions! So in 2013, I started my tiny little dream called Ever After Entertainment! In the past five years, my company has grown from a group of friends making children’s dreams come true to 40+ employees with corporate clients and amazing opportunities! I would never have dreamed that a little hobby of playing dress up as a child would become a woman who is the CEO of her own company she started. But all dreams start somewhere, don’t they? 🙂

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In 2015 I shifted to having EAE LLC my full-time job, and it was definitely an experience! Not only am I solely responsible and accountable to myself, but working from home is definitely a different life. It took months for me to become adjusted to it, but since then, I absolutely love it and I’m glad I made the right choice for myself.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Ever After Entertainment – what should we know?
EAE LLC is one of the first and finest children’s entertainment companies in Georgia. We specialize in princess and fantasy characters and performances, with super and galactic heroes thrown in there too. While many companies have come after us and try to duplicate what we do, we are unique in that we hire only professional actors and use only the best costumes, wigs, and performance options.

While we still do home birthday visits, we now have a long list of business and corporate clients which have included Atlanta Braves, Georgia Aquarium, Atlanta Gladiators Hockey, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Atlantic Station, Aurora Theatre, Atlanta Lyric Theater, Olivia’s Dollhouse Tea Room, Chik-fil-a, and many others!

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I feel as a leader is important to learn how to delegate but balanced with discipline! As an artist turned business boss, I’m not always the most organized, but I strive daily to be better! For this business, I feel that creatively is largely important – so many companies now pop up trying to do the same thing and it’s important to be unique and set yourself apart. Also, its essential to have a loyal clientele who continue to use your services! So treat them right and they will do the same to you!
