Today we’d like to introduce you to Campbell Robinson
Hi Campbell, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born in Decatur and grew up in the Mountain Park area of Roswell. From a young age, I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit. While still at Roswell High School, my brother and I founded Robinson Brothers Contracting LLC. We started with landscaping services, but over the years, we’ve evolved into a full-service residential renovation business, adapting to meet the needs of our clients.
After high school, I earned a rugby scholarship to Arkansas State University. I later transferred to Kennesaw State University, where I graduated from the Coles College of Business with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Entrepreneurship. My passion for rugby led me to play professionally for Rugby ATL, Austin Gilgronis, and the Dallas Jackals in Major League Rugby.
When my professional rugby career came to an end, I returned to my entrepreneurial roots, focusing on Robinson Brothers Contracting. About a year and a half ago, I embarked on a new venture with my dad—Atlanta Cart Rental. We are a small, family-owned and operated business where everyone plays a part: I helped establish and run the company, my brother and I handle deliveries and pickups, and my sisters manage marketing and social media.
Atlanta Cart Rental provides high-quality passenger and utility carts for a variety of events, including parties, sporting events, festivals, concerts, weddings, and shuttle services. We’ve had the privilege of working with some of Atlanta’s top event producers and are excited to continue building our network and brand. It’s been a rewarding journey to grow a business with my family and contribute to memorable events across the city.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Entrepreneurship has never been easy, and I wouldn’t expect it to be. It’s a challenging path, but for me, it’s the most rewarding way to make a living. When I face setbacks—and there have been plenty—I lean on my faith in God. I believe He has blessed me and prepared me for this journey through the life experiences I’ve had: growing up, playing sports, and working from a young age.
One of the toughest challenges we’ve faced with Atlanta Cart Rental has been building a client base from the ground up. It takes time, persistence, and trust. All we ask for is the opportunity to prove ourselves. We take pride in offering the best prices in the metro Atlanta area and delivering top-notch service, which is reflected in our 5-star Google Business rating. Those small wins keep us motivated and remind us that hard work and dedication pay off.

How do you think about luck?
Luck has played an important role in my journey, especially in how Atlanta Cart Rental came to be. My dad and I were fortunate to have one of his employees share his experience starting a successful golf cart rental business in Denver. He was incredibly generous in explaining the business model and providing us with valuable insights. That conversation was the spark we needed. My dad approached me with the idea, and together we put the plan into action.
While luck opened the door, I believe it’s what you do with those opportunities that truly matters. We took that initial stroke of luck and combined it with hard work, determination, and a commitment to excellence, which has been key to building Atlanta Cart Rental into what it is today.
