Hi Carlos, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hi I’m Carlos Poole Born in Swainsboro,Ga and Raised in Riverdale, Ga I grew up watching my parents grind and work hard for everything they have so I guess you can say that’s where I got my drive, determination and grit from. Smoove Hookah started off as just a hobby. It was something I was into when going out to the clubs. Eventually, I ended up purchasing my own hookah, you know something cheap. After a while, I began to really show an interest in the hookah movement which quickly turned into my love for them. I went from purchasing one hookah to buying one every other month or so. Once my collection began to grow, I’d invite my friends and family over to experience my hookahs and get their feedback. After hearing that their experience was better than the club, I decided I wanted to offer mobile hookahs for everyone to experience.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road to where I am today has not been easy. I’ve faced many challenges from trying to support my family while funding Smoove Hookah to finding businesses or individuals to offer my services too. I’ve worked hard everyday to make Smoove hookah a household name.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
My advice is not to be afraid of venturing out of your comfort zone and reaching out to others in your field. Don’t be afraid to network with others. What has worked well for me is gaining feedback from family friends and customers as well as other business owners.
