Today we’d like to introduce you to Cartel Red Diamond.
Hi Cartel Red, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started singing first when I was ten. In chorus and in church. I started doing rapping about 15 years old when I actually got in the booth and made a song and I haven’t stopped since. Now actually putting it up on streaming services and trying to make money off of it for about two years now. I’m 28 years old and still have a lot to learn about the game but ima be one of the greatest when it’s all said and done because I love this art and will always use my voice as an instrument to influence others to keep going as well.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’m pretty sure everyone knows the road to becoming an artist is rarely smooth lol. You have to keep a big social media presence and show people that you have a movement and also to stay consistent that’s what I feel is the hardest.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I feel as I’m very versatile and I’m proud that I keep getting better and better every day. I’m most proud of dropping my first ep “They said I couldn’t Do It” it was a project I really worked hard on to get out. I just feel as I don’t sound like anyone I have my own thing going to me personally.
What matters most to you? Why?
My children because I want to give them the world!!!
