Meet Cassandra McCray of Living My Purpose Fully, Inc. in Statewide

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cassandra McCray.

So, before we jump into specific questions about what you do, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
After becoming sick in 2015, God revealed my purpose and gifts to me. In May of 2016, Living My Purpose Fully, Inc. was established and instituted.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
This journey has not been a smooth transition. My marriage of 17 years ended in divorce, lost my career in Finance, became homeless, was diagnosed with Panic Attacks, PTSD, and Adult ADHD. But through it all, God was with me. He kept me from dangers seen and unseen, He taught me how to set boundaries from people and circumstances that was not a part of my healing.

Living My Purpose Fully, Inc. – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Our mission is to assist victims of abuse to become not only free from bondage, release self-doubt but to learn to live a purposeful life through the teaching of doctrine through our 6-week program. We are putting the enemy on notice that he no longer has dominion over our lives.

I know many organizations that render aid to people in need. But it’s my desire to be more than a resource center. We offer an Outreach Program (G.I.F.T.S. Outreach) that’s an online ministry so that they’re accessible to a spiritual resource outside corporate hours but through social media means and platforms. Have a belonging to a group of other believers to encourage, edify and uplift them.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I believe success is an act of going the long haul, making sacrifices and setting realistic attainable goals. I also believe in small beginnings and being a giver instead of a taker will yield you a greater harvest. Success is not always measured by money but by character.
