Hi Catherine, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Cat’s Cookies started in 2019 as a way for the owner (Cat) to pay for college expenses. Within a short duration, an influx within customer orders occurred. Shortly thereafter, we started to execute local cookie deliveries in the city of Houston Texas, and the surrounding areas. While migrating to the state of Georgia as an inspired entrepreneur and business student attending Kennesaw State University, the desire to grow within the industry of pastry and business flourished. Cat’s Cookies has encountered several rewards by producing the best products out of love for each of our valued customers. As we once started in my small apartment in 2018 (Houston, Texas), It has been a learning and rewarding experience to be nestled in the city of Marietta, Georgia and providing services to our fellow Georgians since the start of 2022.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Our bakery first started with having 5-10 customers, to a growing incline. As the owner and baker, during the first stages were the most challenging while juggling a full-time job, college education, and starting a small bakery to make ends meet. We first started of as a Cottage Business in our home state of Texas, and by several trials and errors have redirected us to perfect our craft as a bakery manufacturer, supplying our products to 51 states in the United States. The transition from our home state has been a challenge, but we are beyond blessed with the feedback and welcoming the state of Georgia and its patrons have shared with our small bakery in a small duration.
