Today we’d like to introduce you to Chaz Weaver.
Hi Chaz, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey started in 2017 when I officially began to start my brand ”Weaver Universe”. Prior to that, I was a student of the game, observing other individuals create brands of their own and move forward in their journeys while taking notes on how to create my own. I wasn’t as experienced nor prepared for this entrepreneurial state of mind as I thought I was. When I started to transition into an actual entrepreneur, I wanted to make my brand more catered to the people who value the “law of attraction” and fully understood the laws of it and how it works. 2018 is when I started to brand my own merchandise and actually begin to bring in profit. On the other side of things, I knew for sure that I wanted to make it appealing for the public but also wanted them to understand the format on which the brand was built on as a whole. There were times when I had to go back to the drawing board and rebrand, which I feel is totally normal for an entrepreneur who’s serious about getting their message out. The Key is to keep branding and believing in yourself. Fast forward to 2024, and the process is still flowing, and I plan on gravitating more customers and believers to believe in the brand that I’m creating.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I wish I could honestly say it’s been easy lol, but it hasn’t. As a novice entrepreneur don’t expect to make money from the start because you will most definitely take some losses along the way. There will be days when business is booming, but there will also be days when it’s extremely slow, but don’t let that discourage you from your process. Your job is to keep creating and continue to stand behind your work and knowing that this isn’t for the weak. As long as you maintain the hustle and consistency, you will be fine.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I have my hands in so much, and it’s a must that I CREATE. I’ve been an artist/songwriter for quite some time, and that’s where my heart and passion lie.
I’m also a barber which is also a therapeutic passion for me to create a look and connect deeply with the consumer.
Last but not least, I love to motivate, so I tend to do my TED talks on my social media platforms to get people to love themselves more and do better in life, and that comes from the heart.
