Meet Chef Bri of The Purple Sprinkle

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Chef Bri.

Chef Bri

Hi Chef Bri, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Sure! So I’ve been married for almost 6 years, we have 2 kids under the age of 5, and I’ve been baking professionally since 2016, but I grew up in the kitchen! I was raised by a single mom, so I learned how to cook and bake at a very young age. I remember playing a ‘restaurant’ game on weekends and writing out a menu to serve my family.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 years and have held almost every position. I have connected with a lot of people in that time, and I can assure you, everything in life comes with hardships and difficulties. You have to choose your hard.

Some of the most difficult challenges of being a business owner and a dessert chef are staying consistent and positive even if everything feels like it’s failing, and trying to stand out and be unique in a world filled with competition and people doubting you. Social Media is also a huge blessing, but can also be a curse. The only thing you can do is keep working hard. I firmly believe, that If you listen to your heart, success will follow.

Thanks for sharing that. Maybe you can tell us a bit more about your business next.
At The Purple Sprinkle, we offer a wide variety of scratch-made cake flavors and sweet treats! I have a passion for baking and am committed to creating delicious desserts that will leave you wanting more.

They should taste just as good, if not better, than they look. I am often asked where our name comes from. It’s a complicated story, but we’ll keep it short and sweet.

My favorite color is Purple, and that also became my nickname across a few past jobs. I personally believe that every occasion deserves a Sprinkle of sweetness! After all, it’s usually the last to be served, so it should leave a lasting impression. I am very proud of the brand I created, and it is growing more every day!

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I cannot express enough the gratitude I have for my family and my clients, I would not be where I am today without complete strangers trusting me to be a part of their most special moments. I love to feel like I’ve become a part of their lives.

To my clients, thank you so much for supporting my dream. To my support system, thank you for supporting my head and my heart. You are all so greatly appreciated!
