Today we’d like to introduce you to Chianti Cone.
Chianti, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am originally from Statesboro, GA. I have been in Atlanta three years now. I am a graduate of Georgia Southern University where I received my degree in Psychology in 2014. Following graduation, I worked as a case worker for Benchmark Family Services. I worked as a case worker for about three months before I started to feel stuck and unsatisfied with were my career and life was, especially with me losing my mother, my backbone in 2013. Once that happened, I told myself that by the time I turned thirty I want to have my own business. My life has definitely been like an emotional roller-coaster from; jumping job to job, getting the first car I got on my own taking away from me, dealing with anxiety and depression, feeling liking a failure, and being too prideful to ask for help because I want to figure out how to do it on my own. through all that I still had my mind on wanting to have my own business. I began researching ways to start your own business and I came upon all-natural handmade scrubs.
I researched a lot of DIY recipes and it went from there. Skin care has defiantly been a passion of mine. After all the researching about what works for all the different skin types I started making and selling my own. I am grateful and blessed to be where I am now. I still have a ways to go however doing this interview is proof that I am on the right path and with God and my loved ones by my side I know I will have a successful business and skin care line that is affordable and caters to Men, Women, and Children of all skin types. A product line that my customers’ will benefit from leaving them looking a feeling their best!!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It defiantly hasn’t been a smooth road. The struggles that I would say I have faced along the way; is fear of failure, wasn’t always financially stable enough to invest in myself how I want to outside of paying bills, because I didn’t want to deal with getting behind on bills. Really just getting out of my comfort zone and proving to myself that I to can do it. Being my own biggest critic!

Well I make all natural skin care products. My mission and goal are to provide my customers with all natural products that cater to all skin types. A product line that is organic, non-toxic, and affordable. Each product will target various skin problems. Body Radiance Scrubs will promote healthy skin care maintenance. I want my customers to be aware and knowledgeable about what they are applying to their face and body. I hand make everything with love and all my products are made to order to maintain freshness. To top it off I do all of this while still maintaining my full time job!!
I am most proud of the fact that I found what I love to do and I am building it from ground up and its mine. I am building my Empire and I can truly say I started from the bottom lol! I am ready to see what God has in store for my Business!
What sets me apart from others is that I am who I am and there is no other like me. We all have our own story and this is just the prologue to mine!
