Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Grier.
Chris, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am from Stone Mountain, GA and I am a Man of many talents and continuing to strive for greatness every day. I have been known around Atlanta for my basketball talents. I have won a state championship back in 2010 at Columbia High School (Decatur, GA) was ranked one of the top players in the State and Country. I went Division 1 right out of High School to Charleston Southern University then later transferred to Virginia State University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2015. After my basketball career was over I wanted to stay close to the game so I started coaching and training for youth basketball. Also, started coaching high school basketball at Arabia Mountain High School and Clarkston High School for one year each Varsity and J.V. I currently am training under a guy who was my AAU coach back when I was in high school name “Bo Bell” where I am now training players all ages for skill development and it’s our first year having an AAU team named “Team Bo Bell”
My business that I want this article to focus on the most is my independent label titled “Allgood Records” we have officially been a label for about two years now and “Donn Johnson” (artist and business partner) and myself run this outstanding franchise movement! This is a team effort and I can’t forget about the rest of let people on this label that makes things happen including (Capbaby, Engineer, producer, artist), Delray Fuller a.k.a. Mrgladwrap (producer, engineer, artist), Cari (artist), Aaron Fuller (musician, artist, producer), and Rashaun Young “Ace” (videographer, photographer, producer, artist). We have been working and are hard work and dedication is paying off. We have a buzzing single right now titled “Real Drip” which is available on all platforms now (Apple Music, Tidal. Spotify, etc.) and music video on YouTube! Donn Johnson has an album out right now available on all platforms as well title “High Life” that as already got great reviews from “The Dope Show” and “All Hip Hop” for single as well. We are hoping this article can help expand our brand and help expand our fan base.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
In life, there are always struggles. The main thing we try to focus on is to control what you can control. We don’t let other people dictate what we can and can’t do

Allgood Records is a family business. We have all known each other forever and there is real bloodline within this label. We are a music label that wants to inspire and want people to enjoy life while hearing our sound. I specialize in the marketing, promotion, and funding of the label. We are all a collective unit with every decision that needs to be made. I am most proud of the company so far with the creative process and the music that we have out right now. I think we can really showcase people that we the hottest in Atlanta upcoming right now. Our performance we have had our always lit and live and with great responses. We are set apart from others because we have more experience than the most upcoming artist that is trying to be where we have already been.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If had to start over, I would not be so quick to jump on everything or every opportunity that jumps out at us. You have to do research before you say yes to anything. It just makes you seem desperate.
