Today we’d like to introduce you to Christin Bowring.
Hi Christin, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I have always had a strong passion and love for fashion since I can remember. It brings me so much joy to be able to creatively express myself through what I wear and share it with others. I started asking my friends to take pictures for me and did photoshoots for fun. I began posting them on my Instagram page to share for others to appreciate and get inspiration from.
I started taking it more seriously after I graduated high school in 2019-2020. Ever since then I have stayed consistent and built up a small community of others who share the same love and appreciation for fashion and self-expression just like I do. My biggest goal is to inspire other woman to romanticize their life and show them that you don’t have to wait for a celebration or special day to look and feel your best. Every day is a reason to celebrate simply being alive.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I wouldn’t say that it’s always been smooth, but that’s just life. It’s always going to be full of ups and downs. I don’t want to get into it too much, but I’ve had to face my own hardships and struggles just like everyone else. I also have been denied by modeling agencies for not fitting their height or weight requirements. I tried to never let it get to me or let it stop me from doing what I enjoy, which is to create.
As long as I’m creating, I’m happy. What’s most important is to stay true to yourself. For me personally, fashion and creatively expressing myself became my outlet for whatever I was going through. No matter what life has thrown at me, I’ve always made sure to make the time to feed what my soul craves. When you’re doing something that feels authentic to you, it comes naturally and easily.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I like to consider myself an artist because what I truly do is express myself creatively by putting together a look and fashion. In technical terms, I could be considered a fashion influencer and freelance model. I really just love to share my outfits with others so that I can inspire them to express their authentic selves and feel confident.
I am most known for wearing feminine, soft life, and flower-incorporated outfits. I like to give an otherworldly element to my posts. I always take into consideration not just the outfit, but the location as well. To me, creating is truly an art and there’s a lot that goes into it behind the scenes. I am most proud when others tell me that they were inspired by me, that’s a huge goal for me.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
I am always open to working with small boutiques and showing off their outfits in my posts. I am also always open to collaborating with photographers for a photoshoot. Others can support me by showing love on my posts, it’s always appreciated and I try my best to show love back.
