Meet Christopher Haley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Haley.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Christopher. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Well, I started modeling because I had got motivated by my peers around me by then actively freely just trying their passions and I wanted to be a part of that process. So I looked at what I could be good at and what wouldn’t feel like a job, so to speak. It was always something that I have flirted with as far as the idea but I really didn’t start taking it seriously until I went back to my home town of Norfolk Virginia, I had come with a concept and the photographer at the time executed my vision and the response from the pictures that we posted gave me the right push to keep going to honestly see how far I could go which ironically is where we are at right now. I have been modeling for a little over two years and I am currently working with T.I.’s brand “AKOO” at the moment and it was just simply because I tried to find my purpose. As far as I knew, I just wanted to really just take really good pictures and show my range artistically for modeling.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
To me, with whatever that you are trying to do, it’s going to be some challenges and that’s the beautiful part about the process. It has been a number of times where I have reached out to certain photographers to collaborate and they either haven’t gotten back to me or it’s always the wrong timing but I use it always as motivation to really just strive and capture the best possible photos. Besides that, that’s honestly the biggest challenge so far that I have come across oddly. The relationships that I’ve built with photographers such as Censay & Christian “Play” Dillard have made the road a lot easier into capturing the exact aesthetic I’m going for.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
For starters, I am an electrician by trade and I work at the shipyard and a model as a side hustle but also a passion. I believe I’m most known for my calm, cool, collected personality and my simplicity but my diversity with my photos. I am honestly most proud of myself as a brand “The Chase,” along with my phrase “Chasing Your Purpose”. Because that’s exactly what I’m living and doing, I’m going for my goals to my fullest potential and that’s really what it’s all about. What sets me apart from a lot of other Male models is my duality with any and everybody I can get along with and I can blend with anybody and lastly, it’s just my level of diversity, I feel like I can fit into any demographic That your asking of.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Man, that’s a lot of milestones in mind but the collaboration so far with T.I.’s brand “AKOO” a photographer by the name of Charles Long that works with the company came across my page due to some mutual followers and he reached out to me and of course, I hopped at the opportunity!
