Meet Christopher Wood of NLC Junk Removal in Tucker

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Wood.

Christopher, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
NLC Junk Removal is a division of Neighborhood Lawn Care LLC. Our lawn care company has been servicing the Atlanta area since 2000. We offer lawn care, landscaping, hardscaping, irrigation, drainage and tree services to residential and commercial clients. As a lawn care company we would often receive calls asking for junk removal from yards. This is why we decided to open a special division dedicated to help businesses and homeowners get rid of their unwanted items.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
As any company offering services, we deal with great number of competition. But with our determination to offer clients the best quality work that we can, our business grew slowing but surely. There are always challenges when you manage a company. Finding the right employees is probably one of the toughest challenges. But we are lucky to say that our team is made of strong individuals, willing to work and do a great job.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the NLC Junk Removal story. Tell us more about the business.
Neighborhood Lawn Care LLC has been servicing the Atlanta area since 2000. I started this company 17 years ago alone, as a side job. Fast I realized that I loved the outdoors and I enjoyed bringing a project from start to finish. In the last 17 years with the help of my wife Stephanie and a great team, I was able to build a great company and offer many landscaping services.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t know if luck played a role in my business but definitely hard work and desire to succeed. I would say that the help of my wife Stephanie made a difference. But with her knowledge of advertising and business, and my knowledge of landscaping work, we were able to bring Neighborhood Lawn Care, LLC to another level.
