Meet Chuck Marley of YungRastaWorld in Chattanooga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chuck Marley.

Chuck, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My granny, she was a Hustler and she always had more than one hustle, so I wanted to be like her. Music was just one of my hustles but the one I fell in love with. In the trenches, all you can do is work or play sports. I did let do neither. Music was something therapeutic. Kept me out of trouble and now I can say I been almost all over the world of music with no deal. It’s a beautiful thing. Just drop my two real projects called Chattanooga Jit. OUT NOW everywhere! Real-life trenches baby.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Everyday a struggle if you don’t got it. But just trying to leave the hood for good was a struggle. I just want to get moms and my sister out this Hell whole.

Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I’m most proud of the Brand and what we are becoming. I can do a lil but if anything. If I put my mind to it. YungRastaWorld is a Family. I’m putting people in a position to take control of their dreams! I’m known for music. This is my record label I want to be like the next Epic Record’s or 300! Everybody works everybody eats.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
When I opened up for Yung Bleu and shooting videos like movies and I won my 1st ever award “ISignMyself” Award.
