Ciarra, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Alexia’s Body Bar LLC has been over three years in the making. Ever since I could remember, I have been obsessed with everything involving skincare. When I was in high school, my acne had finally come along and no store-bought product would work for me. So therefore, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create natural and organic products that we have been endowed with on Earth. My skin cleared up tremendously and I wanted to share my products with other people who want to upgrade their skincare routine. At 18 years old, I finally took the leap of faith and launched my skincare business. I genuinely hope that my products work for everyone. Alexia’s Body Bar was founded with the intention to provide clean and natural beauty products.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Starting my business and running, it has not been a smooth road. Firstly, before I even launched my site and products, I had to test out many ingredients to find out which combinations worked best! Once my business was finally up and running, I had to also manage being a full-time college student right along with making, packaging, and shipping off many orders by myself.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Alexia’s Body Bar – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
Alexia’s Body Bar LLC is a natural skincare company that specializes in products that are gentle but still effective. Within a year of launching Alexia’s Body Bar, we are mainly known for our Manuka Honey Facial Cleanser, which is our #1 bestseller. Being the CEO of this company, the thing that makes me most proud is to see the results and reviews that I have gotten so far from customers loving my products. I would have never thought the day I launched my business, I would have so many supportive customers, so that is what makes me most proud!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
For the future, I strictly plan on launching more products and hiring people to help me package orders. Alexia’s Body Bar is just shy of its one year anniversary so within this next year, I look forward to getting more exposure.
