Today we’d like to introduce you to Cierra Blake.
Hi Cierra, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Originally from Fayetteville, NC, but raised in Atlanta, GA, my name is Cierra Blake, and I am a board-certified credit repair consultant, an author, serial entrepreneur, a social media influencer, and an income tax preparer. I am a graduate of Dunwoody High School, and I attended Fort Valley State University.
After attending college and after some years of educational, career, and self-exploration, I entered into the credit repair industry. I like credit repair because it is an opportunity to help people and is a needed service. Helping people is a passion for me. That is why I majored in Sociology when I attended Fort Valley State for two years. Helping people get out of financial debt, improving their credit, and achieving their dreams of being approved for loans for new homes, cars, and credit cards with favorable interest rates due to their improved credit scores that I help them achieve, is fulfilling and rewarding to me. I have worked in the credit repair industry for four years and my business growth and earnings have improved year over year since I began my credit repair business. In addition, I have authored two books (available now) about credit repair and financial wellness. Also, I am a social media influencer with more than 100 thousand followers on Instagram, and I just started a tax preparation business that will be ready to serve customers on January 1st of 2023.
I have built my company from the ground up, and I am generating a 6 figure income every year in my business. I have serviced hundreds of clients throughout all 50 states, Puerto Rico and Japan! What sets me apart from others is consistency. I am a hard worker, highly motivated, determined, passionate woman ready to conquer all and achieve my dreams. I love to read, dance, do vision boards, and eat, but most important to me is my family, especially my niece, Sky.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It was not easy in the beginning; but I persevered and never gave up. I took as much training as I could. I dedicated lots of time locating and learning credit repair software and the process. I created a social media account and marketed my business. I made flyers. I did cold calling and door knocking. I was determined to be successful. It all paid off. Eventually, after several months, clients signed up, I produced results, and the rest is history.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a board-certified credit repair consultant. I specialize in advanced credit repair and business credit. In short, I advocate for the information on my client’s credit report to be accurate and fair. I dispute anything that is not accurate and have out-of-date information removed. My clients enter their information into a portal. My software compares that information to what’s on their credit report. Then the software highlights first incorrect personal information. I have these things corrected by all three bureaus. Next, I go through a round of getting outdated information removed from the report. Lastly, I dispute whatever I can with regard to the credit accounts and try to get the inaccurate information deleted from the client’s credit report. It sounds simple, but depending on the severity of the client’s credit and what is on their credit report, improving their score can take some time and effort. It can take up to 90 days to see results, but if the client sticks with me, I will get them results. I send all my clients their updates and deletions and more times than not, my clients are surprised and overjoyed with the results my service provides. I have many testimonials that will back up my statements.
Any big plans?
My life experiences have given me the desire to create wiser, more financially aware, and credit-savvy people by spreading the word through my work as a credit repair consultant and tax preparer, teaching and mentoring others about credit, taxes, and credit repair, my social media posts, my books (available now), and my upcoming blog and podcast about credit repair and income taxes. My future plans are to secure several brick-and-mortar locations throughout Georgia and North Carolina. In addition, I want to start a weekly podcast to educate people about credit and taxes. I also want to continually educate myself as the tax preparation and credit repair industries continue to change. I want to one day become a CPA and provide full accounting services and start a philanthropic organization that provides scholarships to woman who wants to become accountants and financial advising professionals. Lastly, I want to groom the next generation of Blakes to take over the businesses I have created so that my outreach continues to grow through beyond my time on Earth.
