Today we’d like to introduce you to Cinthia Almeida.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m a Brazilian woman who has been living in US, since 2017. We lived in Michigan for 6 years and now we are living here in Georgia for almost 2 years. We moved to the U.S. when my husband received an expat assignment, and at the time, I was on maternity leave after having our first child. Back then, I had a dynamic career as a LATAM Marketing Executive — constantly traveling, managing international projects, and balancing an intense routine. When we relocated, I made a conscious decision to pause my corporate journey and embrace the role of a full-time mom.
But after nearly a year in this new chapter, I started to miss something: my professional identity. I realized I no longer resonated with the corporate life I had left behind, but I also wasn’t fully fulfilled without a sense of purpose beyond motherhood.
That’s when I worked with a Career Coach, and it changed everything. Through a powerful self-awareness process, I reconnected with my strengths, aspirations, and values — one of which stood out as non-negotiable: flexibility. That clarity became my compass.
In the months that followed, while pregnant with my second child, I began studying, planning, and shaping what would become my own business. Interestingly, that pregnancy taught me invaluable lessons in patience, focus, and resilience. When my daughter was born, I was ready — not just emotionally, but strategically. I launched my consultancy with confidence and purpose, following a carefully crafted plan.
With over 20 years of experience in Marketing, Branding, and People Development — including 15+ years in global corporations, advertising agencies, and consulting — I’ve led diverse teams, built strong networks, and developed a deep understanding of human behavior across cultures. My academic background includes a degree in Advertising, an MBA in Marketing, and specialization in Personal Branding and Leadership from renowned institutions.
Today, through my Personal Marketing Consultancy, I bring together everything I love: People, Strategy, Branding, and Meaningful Storytelling. I started with a few beta clients — friends who trusted me and allowed me to test and refine my methodology. Their feedback was vital in shaping the high-impact services I now offer.
After years of dedication, growth, and connection, I’ve not only found a new professional identity — I’ve found my mission: to help people discover their strengths, own their stories, and communicate their authenticity with power and clarity in the market.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Was it a smooth journey? Not at all.
When I started preparing my business plan to launch my consultancy in 2018, I discovered I was pregnant again. This time felt very different. Our lives had completely changed since the birth of our son in 2017 — we were now in a new country, raising a young child without the support of nearby family, and navigating everything on our own. To make things more complex, I have a history of high-risk pregnancies, which required extra care and attention. It was one of the most challenging moments of our lives.
But that pregnancy, as unexpected as it was, taught me invaluable lessons. It shaped me into a more patient, focused, and intentional version of myself. When my daughter was born, I found the clarity and calmness I needed to launch my business with less pressure and more confidence — exactly the way I had planned.
Then came the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many, I was emotionally shaken. But amidst the uncertainty, a wave of opportunity emerged:
– Remote work became the norm, removing geographic barriers. People began searching globally for professionals like me.
– Communication needs shifted. Without in-person meetings, professionals had to adapt and elevate their personal branding online — and they needed help.
– Networking surged. I actively joined professional groups to offer support, which organically led to new client relationships.
– Technology and culture evolved together. I was invited to speak about Personal Marketing for well-established companies, helping their teams lead with authenticity during uncertain times.
That period also pushed me to expand my digital presence and explore new communication channels, strengthening my own Personal Branding and allowing me to reach an even wider audience.
Almost two years ago, we moved from the state of Michigan to Georgia. Although my business is almost 100% remote, moving always feels like starting over. This time, however, I felt more equipped personally — having already experienced living in another country and realizing that building a strong network is the first step to everything. I felt more prepared to explore new territories and expand my business.
It wasn’t a smooth road — but every challenge paved the way for deeper growth, resilience, and purpose.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a Personal Marketing and Personal Branding Consultant, with more than 20 years of experience in Marketing, Branding, and Leadership across global corporations, advertising agencies, and consultancies. Today, I help professionals — from entrepreneurs to executives — position themselves strategically in the market by turning their unique stories, strengths, and essence into powerful personal brands.
My work is rooted in one belief: people don’t need to become someone else to be successful — they need to become more of who they truly are, with clarity and strategy. That’s what I bring to the table. I specialize in helping individuals identify what sets them apart, communicate their value with confidence, and build a consistent and authentic presence across different platforms.
I like to think that what makes my work stand out is the way I blend global marketing expertise with a deep human approach. I’m not just about visibility — I’m about meaningful positioning. My clients often say I help them “connect the dots” between their experience, aspirations, and how they show up in the world.
I’m especially proud of the transformation journeys I’ve had the honor to lead — from professionals pivoting careers after a long corporate path to entrepreneurs refining their voice and attracting the right audience. I’ve worked with people across various cultures, industries, and life stages, and that diversity has shaped my perspective and methodology.
I also created my business from the ground up in a foreign country, during motherhood and a pandemic — which taught me to navigate challenges with resilience and creativity. I started with beta clients, testing and refining exclusive methodologies, and now I have a portfolio built on real, lasting results.
Whether I’m delivering 1:1 sessions, speaking at events, or mentoring in female leadership networks, my mission remains the same: to help people sell themselves — without selling out who they are.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
There are several ways people can work with me or collaborate. I offer one-on-one consulting and mentoring sessions for professionals who want to develop or reposition their personal brand — whether they’re transitioning careers, launching a business, or aiming for greater visibility in their current role. I also lead workshops and corporate training sessions focused on Personal Marketing, Leadership, and Communication, tailored for companies that want to empower their teams and leaders.
For those looking to collaborate, I’m always open to meaningful partnerships — especially with professionals and organizations that value authenticity, strategic thinking, and human connection. I also enjoy participating as a speaker in events, podcasts, and webinars related to career development, branding, and women’s leadership.
And if someone simply wants to support my work, engaging with my content, referring me to someone who could benefit, or sharing what I do with their network already makes a big difference.
I believe in connection as a core part of what I do — and collaboration often leads to the most impactful stories.
