Today we’d like to introduce you to CJ Wolfe.
Hi CJ, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
To me, a picture is not just worth a 1000 words, it is a powerful way to make your vision immortal. I believe photography and videography is not just a tool to preserve memories but a way to launch inspiration into the future. I founded Immortal Vision Studio with this in mind in 2020, pivoting from my five-year plan in corporate finance. I began as a student-athlete and part-time photographer playing basketball in college. Growing up with a creative eye for content and storytelling as a way to stay out of trouble in Philadelphia, I realized creative entrepreneurship was part of my future vision. Immortal Vision Studio provides a safe and accessible space for creators to produce and showcase content. We offer studio and equipment rentals, studio rentals photography and videography production, graphic design, web development, and creative entrepreneurship programs for local high school students. What sets Immortal Vision Studio apart from other businesses is our foundation in social entrepreneurship. The model isn’t just dependent on getting clients but is about sharing my vision to influence and better the lives of other young black athletes and creators through finding their vision. We aim to do more than produce content for clients, but to educate, inspire, and connect to our community.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The road has been smooth due to the work that I displayed before I went full time into my passion and within my business. I was working off of pure passion for about 3-4 years before I decided to take this role full time. The road has been smooth from the foundation and groundwork… However, it has not always been easy. We dealt with struggles such as funding, building a solid team, and getting other businesses to partner up with us. As a creator, you always have to be creative and strategic when overcoming obstacles. Hardwork and consistency was able to lead us over those tough times.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
CJ Wolfe has been impacting sports and athletes’ lifestyles through his creativity behind the scenes and behind the camera. While in college serving as a student-athlete, CJ found his passion for photography and videography. CJ has produced work for Allen Iverson, Will Parks, John Wall, Dion Waiters, Louis Williams, Meek Mill, and many more.
Known for his candid and raw style of photography, CJ has many brand partnership collaborations which lead over to his creative studio located in North Philadelphia. Immortal Vision Studio was born in December of 2020. CJ was working as a full-time financial advisor and personal banker while opening up a creative studio + agency in Philadelphia. In March of 2021, things changed and CJ became a full-time creative entrepreneur, which allowed him to be featured on The Philadelphia Inquirer, Fox29, 6ABC, and many other news outlets. Ever since its birth, Immortal Vision Studio has been inspiring creators while building a creative community.
To this date, even opening up a studio CJ Wolfe produces its own creative trading cards from designing them to doing all of the content for it as well. When he captured images of athletes and Hip Hop artists, he then placed them on trading cards. Which is called CJ Wolfe Creative Trading Cards.
We are launching an innovate way for photographers to become investors when we plan to launch our NFT’s in Spring of 2022.
