Meet Coco-Chanel Jones of Mademoiselle Chanel Fitness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Coco-Chanel Jones.

Coco-Chanel, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
The sharing of my big personality came from adapting to change and not caring what others thought about me, but all that came with time and experience. Both of my parents served and retired from the military. My mother was in the Navy, and my father was in the Marines, the discipline in my household was inescapable. I was blessed to live in many countries: Iceland, Hawaii, and Okinawa-Japan; which led me to being exposed to many other different cultures and people.

However, because I was forced to move a lot, making friends and keeping friends was challenging (especially moving back to the U.S). I was shy and timid while always being the new girl, I had no sense of fashion (military kids overseas typically wore what the Nex or Px had), and when we moved back to the states in 99′ I went through a stage of being bullied in the American public school system.

My mother always kept me active in extracurricular activities, such as; tap and jazz, cheerleading, brownie girl scouts, and thanks to my dad I was a part of the young marines ROTC program of Roaring Thunder Cadets. It wasn’t until I started running Track in middle school and all throughout high school is where I built my sense of confidence and belonging. Track and field introduced me to the love I have for fitness presently.

I continued my studies after high school receiving my A.S in Physical Education and my B.S in Exercise & Health Science at Kennesaw State University in 2012. My education and multiple experiences of being “the new girl” allowed me to build a thriving fitness brand and business, catering the general population and for the “new girl/guy” who deserves to feel confident and belong in the fitness world.

Has it been a smooth road?
September of 2015 is when I officially became a polished part-time entrepreneur and just recently, September 1st, I made the leap of faith of being a full-time Entrepreneur.

During my part time-entrepreneur experience, I was employed as the Head Coach of OrangeTheory Fitness Stone Mountain. The struggles I endured was/is like every other aspiring business owner, making the time for my own business.

I also had to deal with a lot of differences in the workplace with other colleagues who tried to stifle me in pursuing my dreams and purpose. I dealt with co-workers who were intimidated by the love and retention I received from members and fitness fans. But hey, “If you don’t have any haters, you ain’t popping” right?

As a full-time Entrepreneur, I’m switching my perspective of struggles into challenges that can be overcome. Living within the means of what is necessary to survive and run my business has been a big game changer for me. Going from a comfortable and pretty salary with spending money to a strict financial game plan is what has matured me financially.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Mademoiselle Chanel Fitness – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Mademoiselle Chanel Fitness is catered to Female Entrepreneurs who are trying to increase their wealth and their health. As a fitness professional, I provide personal training to other entrepreneurs who own or work in high-stress businesses and careers. I also do group fitness classes (which are my favorite) that specifically target the Abdominals and Gluteal areas of the body, known as Abs & Glute Camp.

My empire steps outside of the gym as well, this is my reasoning for coining the term “Remodeling the Fitness Business.” I’ve created many innovative ways of constructing health & fitness events outside of the status quo environment of a gym.

Projects I’ve Curated:
-30 Day Body Works Challenge- A series of workout videos for the span of 30 days targeting the major muscle groups with H.I.I.T and circuit training workouts. Featured on Youtube and Email Marketing Funnels. Ads ran on Facebook from 2015-2016.

-The Glo-Up Series – This program adds enjoyment to get your body toned, trim, and lean. The workouts are professionally choreographed to hip-hop and rap songs that focus on both the inner and outer muscles of the body. The only equipment you’ll need is dumbbells, a mat, and some tax bands. These routines are sure to get your body up and moving to a new you. Featured on Youtube and live events in Tucker, Ga.

Boss Night Inn: An organization that connects and empowers female entrepreneurs in social settings. Our signature is the first ever Entrepreneur Sleepover! And with many more projects underway…

I like to dubb myself as “The P.diddy of Fitness.” However, what I’m mostly proud of creating is a community of purpose-based fitness professionals who have the enthusiasm and care-factor for the consumer’s needs.

Remodeling the fitness business is a program put in place for the aspiring fitness trainer/group instructor to improve their God-given purpose as an effective and efficient business.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I like most about the city is the opportunity, the networking events, and capabilities that are present to expand the exposure of your business and brand.

What I like the least about our city is the hustle mentality of fitness trainers who are much more concentrated on the $$$, rather than the purpose and value of the consumer.

Don’t get me wrong, I do believe that compensation is important and getting paid your worth is vital; but providing your client with a luxurious experience of your purpose-based skill should be your standard.
