Meet Conyers Entrepreneur and Motivational Speaker: Keisha Green

Today we’d like to introduce you to Keisha Green.

At the very young age of nine, Quateshia (now Keisha) began to assist her mother, who was a single mom, in the care of her siblings, while her mother worked to provide for her family. At the age of 16, she gave birth to her firstborn son Zyeir Smith. The many years of experience in running a household and taking care of her siblings, prepared this young teenager, who acquired an apartment for her and her son as she also continued to go to school. A senior in high school, Quateshia had to drop out of school when childcare for her son was no longer available. She started working and was able to provide for her and her son. Ms. Green was always a strong young woman, who knew that there was so much more that life had in store for her…

Ms. Green’s future was bright and filled with ambition. She started Exotic Extensions, a successful hair extension business in 2011. She never gave up on her education, and on August 18, 2013, Quateshia Green entered college in pursuit of a degree in radiology. She was living the life! A proud mother of three handsome sons; Zyeir, JoMari, and John; A college student; A successful entrepreneur and business woman, life was great!

Then just like that, on August 23, 2013, Quateshia had a car accident that would change her world forever. It is only by the grace and mercy of God that this single mother of 3, college student, business woman and entrepreneur made it out alive. The accident was so bad, that they had to use the jaws of life to get Ms. Green out. The impact of the accident immediately severed both of Ms. Green’s legs at the scene of the accident.

Originally it was thought by doctors that Ms. Green would remain in the hospital for one year. Through Ms. Green’s prayers and those of her children, family and friends, and her faith that wouldn’t let her give up or give in her current situation, “Keisha Green” emerged from the hospital in 3 weeks of the accident and not one year as originally thought by a doctor. That’s Right! “Keisha Green” was birth out of this tragic situation. Her world had changed and so did her name. Her purpose and assignment here on earth had taken on its predestined form, Keisha Green understood, “He Chose Me!”

Ms. Green went on to open up her very on Exotic Extensions Boutique 8 months after her accident, defying all the odds. So in awe of the glory of God and all that He had walked her through, Keisha Green created a flipagram to document the goodness of God’s Love, Grace and Mercy extended to her during this tragic ordeal, and she wanted to share it with the world. By morning, after having posted the flipagram the night before, over

1 million people had viewed her story on Facebook. To date, over 7.5 million people have viewed it, and that number continues to increase.

Keisha Green was inspired to share her story with The Steve Harvey Show staff via his website and in January of 2014, she was chosen, hailed and honored by Steve Harvey, as A True “Super Mom!” Steve Harvey introduced her to a company on his show that could make a pair of prostatic legs for her. In need of financial assistance to pay for her new legs, Keisha Green formed the “Loving Legs For Keisha Foundation” she was determined to walk again and she has, through it all.

Keisha Green is now an Author, her first book entitled “Walking Through It All” captures the very essence of what it feels like to be carried by God; She’s A Motivational Speaker, who is constantly invited to share her story, inspiring millions who follow her on social media, via YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Not to mention the millions that continue to view her flipagram. She became the brand Ambassador for Single Mothers United of the World, Inc, after its Founder and CEO viewed her flipagram on Facebook and reached out to her.
