Meet Cora Sanfilippo of Social Spritz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cora Sanfilippo.

Hi Cora, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My path wasn’t exactly traditional, but it’s what shaped me.

While I earned a degree in economics from Georgia Southern, my passion for marketing really sparked when I launched my own online boutique in college. Running that business taught me everything — from branding and social media to building an e-commerce site — mostly through self-teaching and a lot of trial and error.

After closing the boutique, I knew I wanted to help other brands grow, so I spent the next few years working in marketing roles across industries like retail, fitness, and staffing. In 2024, I officially launched Social Spritz, my own boutique agency, where I now help brands build strategic, authentic online presences. It’s been a journey of trusting my passion and leaning into what lights me up.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a perfectly smooth road, but I think that’s what makes it so rewarding.

I signed my very first client in 2023 while I was still working part-time jobs at places like Orange Theory and a local pool store. I was scared to take the leap into doing my own thing full-time. At one point, I even accepted a full-time role managing social media for a large brand because I thought it was the “safe” choice.

But deep down, I always knew I wanted to build something of my own. Eventually, the opportunity to launch Social Spritz really fell into my lap and I’m so glad I trusted myself to run with it. It’s been a lot of learning, taking risks, and building my confidence along the way.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Social Spritz is a boutique social media and content agency designed to help brands show up strategically and authentically online. I offer services like social media management, content creation, website design and maintenance, brand strategy, and copywriting, all tailored to meet each brand exactly where they are.

What really sets Social Spritz apart is the level of care and attention to detail I bring to every client. I’m a true empath at heart. When I work with someone, I fully take on their business as if it were my own. I invest in their success, not just professionally, but personally too. I want to know their goals, their challenges, and the bigger vision behind why they do what they do.

I’m most proud that Social Spritz isn’t a “one-size-fits-all” agency. I genuinely collaborate with clients to craft solutions that fit their needs, rather than forcing them into pre-built packages.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was always creative, a little bit of a perfectionist, and definitely a team player. I did gymnastics for years, which eventually turned into competitive cheerleading. Those sports taught me discipline, attention to detail, and how to work with a team toward something bigger.

My love for social media started early. In 5th grade, I did a project based on my favorite hairstyle tutorial from CuteGirlsHairstyles on YouTube. I remember telling my mom, “This is a real career,” and even explaining how brand deals worked. It just clicked for me. I even started my own YouTube channel in high school, which gave me hands-on experience creating content and building an audience.

Looking back, it’s no surprise I ended up building brands and creating digital spaces that bring people together. It’s been part of me all along.
