Meet Courtney Paige

Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Paige.

Courtney, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I founded my blog, apaigeofpositivity.com, just over two years ago. Born and raised in Michigan, I moved to Buckhead shortly after graduation – pursuing a career in interior design. I work full time at an architecture and design firm while running my blog after hours and on the weekend. I share healthy, fun recipes, daily doses of positivity, and snips of graphic & interior design. I like to say she was created in a time where I needed her most. It has grown to be so much more than I could have ever imagined: connecting to people both in person and around the globe over a mutual love of life and food.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I never anticipated being what it is today. My Paige has grown into an incredible network and community for me. I would say the biggest challenge was being a full-time student and running a blog to now working a full-time corporate job and running my blog. It’s a lot of hours and commitment to say up to date – especially on Instagram.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
Apaigeofpositivity is quite simply that: a page (Paige) of positivity. I wanted my brand to reflect my authentic self and everyone always complimented me on my positivity in life. I started my Instagram two years ago – sharing easy recipes and my journey of recovery from an eating disorder. It’s evolved into a Paige of my passions: healthy recipes, hand lettering / graphic design exploration, and snippets of fashion tips + home edits. I’m most proud of the brand I’ve created that reflects who I am as a person. There is a lot of noise in this space and sometimes its hard to see through it – I like to think my Paige brings other people little joys when they see it. I would say that it’s easy for me to push myself, and that reflects in the type of digital work creators are constantly creating. It’s a never-ending job.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I just launched my blog so the next steps are to get all of my recipes I’ve shared in Instagram posts over the past two years onto the blog (photographed, developed, and SEO optimized). I’m excited to be doing this! Plans for the future is to turn my blog into a full-time job while exploring other passion projects that excite me.
