Today we’d like to introduce you to Cyd Ahlberg.
Hi Cyd, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Cydvolution Art is more than design, it’s a movement. Created by Cyd aka Cydvolution, Cydvolution Art LLC. aims to incite your creative revolution and amplify the voices of small business, artists, musicians and non-profits. Through years of hard work, education and dedication, I’ve built this brand to represent myself and help others build their brands that represent their missions and visions.
I’ve always been involved in the arts since I was a kid. It started with illustrated then I gained an interested in video. In high school, I was introduced to graphic design and in college took up photography as my minor. I also write poetry and I’m learning music production. My motto is “There’s nothing I can’t do. If I can’t do something right now, I can always learn it.” So, I’m always open to growing in my creative talents and I love to share that with others.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
None of this has been a smooth road for me. I’ve had a lot of failures that I’ve come to realize we’re actually lessons. They didn’t feel good in the moment, but they’ve shaped me into the artist I am today. I’ve become more free in my craft, but more prepared in my business practices. It’s still a struggle balancing the business with the art, but it’s not impossible when you take the time to learn and apply everything you’ve learned and all those past experiences to the now.

I am a graphic designer, photographer, visual artist and poet. I aspire to be much more and collaborate with other talented artists. My main focus and main goal is to execute the creative vision by any medium necessary. This applies to my visions or the visions of others. I love collaborating with other artists and sharing our collective visions with the world. I specialize in branding and promotions. I’m known for my refined, but freestyle of design. I’m most post of my ability to interpret the visions of others and create designs that cater exactly to their needs and vision. What sets me apart is my artist’s approach to design problems.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Atlanta is so rich in culture and the arts. I love being about to find art scenes anywhere in the city. It’s a prime spot for music and entertainment ad being in the midst of that is inspiring. What I like least about the city is how crowded it has become.
