Today we’d like to introduce you to Damien Daigle and Chrissie Thompson.
Damien and Chrissie began Computers R Us in June of 2014. Damien has over 15 years of experience working on and repairing electronics from working at other repair shops in and around the Atlanta area. Computers R Us started very humbly: Damien began performing phone repairs one phone at a time out of his home after creating a Facebook business page to obtain clients. Damien worked a full-time day job and repaired phones at night. A little less than a year later, after Computers R Us had gained a significant amount of popularity, the first brick and mortar location was opened. With a ton of hard work and working 7 days a week, Computers R Us is what it is today.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been one of the bumpiest roads getting Computers R Us to where is it now, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world! What people don’t tell you is that owning and operating your own business is not only difficult, but it will end up owning you at times. For the first year, we worked 24/7, because the majority of our business has come from Facebook, so messages would come at all hours of the night. We hustled hard, so we always responded in a timely manner and worked for dirt cheap prices.
When we opened our shop, we did not take out a loan (we still have not to this day) so we literally were repairing phones to pay the rent and build-out in our shop (think Georgia red clay all over the floor due to flooding, missing ceiling tiles, dirt on the walls, etc). But, we did it and we loved every minute of it! It is so rewarding to run your own business and see it grow more and more each year! We absolutely could not see ourselves doing anything else!

Computers R Us is a locally owned and operated business in Kennesaw run by a married couple, Damien Daigle and Chrissie Thompson. We specialize in most electronic device repairs (smartphones, tablets, computers, laptops, gaming consoles, TV’s, etc) as well as virus removal and onsite services (we will come to your home or office and assist you with diagnosing issues with your devices or internet). We also sell pre-loved laptops, tablets, and desktops.
What sets us apart is the importance to us to support other local businesses as we also sell local jams, jellies, honey, soaps and crafts in our shop. We have a cozy shop with a coffee shop like feel to it. We have a waiting area with couches and a farm table with a large cloth checkers game. We also have a coloring station and reading area for the kiddos! We also support a local rescue organization Friends To The Forlorn Pitbull Rescue. Also, we are a pet-friendly shop, we have people bring in their fur babies all the time!
We are most proud of our work ethic, the quality of service we provide to our clients and our amazing reviews across social media. We have a five star Google rating with over 430 (5) star reviews, a five star Facebook rating with over 215 (5) star reviews as well as a five-star rating on Yelp with 19 (5) star reviews. We feel what sets us apart from other computer repair shops in our cozy shop environment as well as our 5 stars rating across the board.
In under 4 years, we have more 5 star reviews than any of our competitors that have been in business for double and triple the amount of time we have been. We treat people like we want to be treated: fairly and kindly. 110% satisfaction is what you will always receive at Computers R Us.
