Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Shub.
Daniel, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Growing up in Puerto Rico gave me a very different perspective on life than a lot of the people I have met from the continental US. I knew from an early age that before I was 18, I would leave and begin to build a more stable life. My Grandfather taught me photography and I soon began getting paid to combine images with text to create excitement and engagement for events in the community – this was my first taste of design and marketing. Once in the states, I immediately started working and building my client list. After some schooling in NYC, I moved to Atlanta in 2010 to benefit from this amazingly young and up and coming city.
Since I’ve been here, I have been putting in my time with the big brands, in-house marketing teams as well as a few agencies and non-profits around town doing production and creative design/direction and making amazing relationships along the way. In December of 2016, I made the decision to go full time with my design agency, DKS Design so I could provide exceptional and affordable creative services to businesses of all shapes and sized no matter their budget.
After years of seeing companies and small businesses alike struggle to effectively use screens and tablets, which have become increasingly ubiquitous and cheap, to deliver their message- I reached out to a friend from back home and together we build SignStream.net.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The local business and networking communities greeted us with huge excitement and support, but educating business owners and decision makers have been a challenge.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about SignStream.net – what should we know?
SignStream.net is giving businesses full control of all the screens in their locations. Our easy to use Cloud-based content management app and Channel Player apps on a variety of smart TV platforms and devices make it easy to be in full control of the messaging on unlimited screens, without a dedicated computer for each screen.
Users can create a channel then organize ads, images, videos and web content that play on a loop- then display that channel on UNLIMITED SCREENS. Users can update the channel anytime right from their browser or mobile device.
When an ad is made public it appears in our marketplace and other SignStream.net users can put it on their channel to have a cross-marketing relationship and support and generate revenue from their channel.
We also offer full-service content creations, channel management and installation of screens and hardware.
