Today, we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Washington. Daniel was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Xavian Tate.
Hi Daniel , we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.
How I got my start is in church. I was a shy, quiet and honestly aimless 14 year old just meandering through existence until my Apostle, Angelo Hollis introduced me to instruments. He gave me a chance to play the drums even though I never played them before or had an interest in performing music prior to this. I enjoyed it and decided that if I am going to play I may as well learn how. That is what sparked not just wanting to play what was already made by someone else but to create my own which lead to me going to college to get an education in music and to get established to own my own studios and label that I decided to call Gaijin Productions.
Please talk to us about your music.
My aside from creating for artists that I have worked with music is an extension of my voice and how I am feeling. My main objective is to use my sound, platform and influence to spread joy into the world as best I can and open up spaces for others to be heard and connect through creativity and technology. Xavian Tate and Light of the World LLC have been great to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship with them as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about Xavian Tate and Light of the World LLC and your experience with them.
My experience with Xavian has been nothing short of amazing. He wears many hats as a singer, a mental health professional, a social worker, a motivational speaker, a mental health firm business owner with the name of Light of the World LLC, my best friend, one of the people cheering forward. He is energetic, motivated, determined to do his best and expects the best from others, he is encouraging, caring, hard working, to provide the best help and insight that he can and he has joy in everything he do. The highlight of working with Xavian is the constant encouragement to not just be myself but the best version of me that I choose to be. He is one of the reason why I am here at this level of operation today to achieve my own goals.
