Meet Danielle Coello of College Park

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Coello.

Hi Danielle, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started lashing in 2018 at the age of 19. I took a one on one beginners class and from there I never stopped. From the living room, to my room, to another room in my mom’s house. My close friends were my first few models and lashes were not as popular as they were then as they are today. I also taught myself my volume techniques and everything else came naturally.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Honestly, it hasn’t been the easiest but it has been so beautiful. In the past 4 years I was blessed with my baby girl Luna Love. I worked my entire pregnancy doing just my consistent clients and custom strip orders because I was so scared during the pandemic I didn’t want to bring anyone new in and I also only had lashes to depend on as an income. I worked up until the last week I had her on Valentines day 2022. I was already full time since the pandemic 2020, so taking everything on my back was just how I started to roll. I then lost my father the same year I had Luna and also became a single mother. Both while grieving , I still had to show up for my clients. You see, I also have a thrill for journeys and commitments that aid in my elevation and knowledge. I started esthetician school still while grieving and withholding my household alone. With all of life at every angel pulling and almost draining me, I can only find my strength in knowing my baby girl needed me more than anyone else. She’s everything & literally my best friend. Today , I crown myself for conquering it all and reaching every goal I set for myself. I graduated, I opened my own small shop, and I am still standing with an overflow of clientele all because I stayed consistent.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I hand make every lash fan with both of my hands every second and every minute that I am in service : I adhere each to one natural eyelash. I don’t place the lashes on the lash line, and with my techniques I am able to wrap the lashes around the natural so that they are growing with as your natural lashes are growing in. I’m humble to say that I am known for my retention, which is how long they last before shedding. Most of my clients don’t have to come back for 3-5 weeks. They also are waterproof and have survived every season, with trips abroad and even under the water!

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Being with my family all in one house is my favorite memory. I miss my grandmothers house where we had so much space to be anywhere we wanted with all of my cousins. I miss doing things as a family and whole. My big goal is to one day have a big house or compound for all of my family to gather back together , help one another, love, thrive and continue a leading legacy.
