Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Hubbard
Hi Danielle, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m a producer based in Atlanta with a strong focus on youth entertainment. Over the past few years, I have been dedicated to bringing back high-quality, family-friendly television that can be enjoyed by all generations.
My journey in television production began with the creation and production of Nick’s House, a fun and engaging show about a group of ambitious kids who run their own businesses. I created the show with the help of my 10-year-old son who originally came up with the overall concept. You can watch the pilot episode on MotherHubbard.TV.
My most recent project is The Nick and JJ Show, an innovative youth talk show hosted by two dynamic 13-year-olds, Nicholas Buamah and Janae Madison. The show features celebrity interviews, inspiring youth stories, entertainment updates, sports highlights, and interactive game segments.
Each episode is filmed in front of a live studio audience of more than 30 young viewers, creating an energetic and engaging atmosphere. Our goal is to entertain, inspire, and empower the next generation by giving them a platform to share their voices and connect with positive role models.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I believe challenges are what make the journey worthwhile. One of the biggest challenges has been trying to secure funding to bring these projects to life. Producing high-quality television requires resources, and finding the right sponsors and partners who align with our vision hasn’t been easy either. We self-funded the first four episodes, operating on the belief that “If You Create It, They Will Come.” Our goal was to produce a compelling proof of concept that would allow potential sponsors to see the quality and vision of our work firsthand..
What gives me the drive to continue is seeing the excitement of kids in our live studio audience and receiving messages from parents thanking us for creating something positive for their kids.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My work centers on developing innovative television programming that not only entertains but also inspires and empowers young audiences. I specialize in producing content that gives children and teens a platform to share their voices, connect with positive role models, and explore topics relevant to their generation.
What sets me apart from others is my commitment to bringing back family-friendly entertainment in an era where youth programming is often overlooked. I create content that kids and parents can enjoy together while fostering a sense of community and inspiration.
What does success mean to you?
For me, success isn’t just about accolades or financial gain, it’s about impact. I define success as creating something meaningful that inspires, empowers, and leaves a lasting impression on others. If my work can bring families together, give young people a platform to express themselves, or motivate the next generation to dream big, then I consider that a success.
