Meet DaVinci Kitsune of GOODTASTE in Marietta

Today we’d like to introduce you to DaVinci Kitsune.

DaVinci, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I honestly didn’t have much of an interest in music growing up as a kid, I was always more into visual arts, like pop art and fashion. I remember being like 12 or 13 though and I heard ‘Drop the World’ by Lil Wayne and Eminem, and when I heard Em’s verse I related so much to it that I just wanted to start rapping. For me it was a form of expression but also, I saw an opportunity to give myself and my family the life I know we always deserved. Eminem and his rags to riches story inspired me so much because me and my family were poor growing up like sometimes, we didn’t have food or electricity so I knew off top I had to make it.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nah the road is never smooth people always think you’re gonna blow up overnight but Imma tell you off top there’s a lot of self-doubt and depression when you set your expectations so high because you’re dreaming so big, we all wanna be superstars. It gets hard when you know your sh*t been bumping and you just still waiting to blow up but you gotta trust the process.

GOODTASTE – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
GOODTASTE is mostly a photography company that I started and I provide professional quality photography while only using my iPhone, because I believe Apple is the future of photography. To be honest though I just use it as an umbrella name to release my music under maybe I’ll add more artists later but for right now it’s just me.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I’ll never forget when I dropped ‘NASA’ and it got over 100,000 streams I think in some countries 100.000 is platinum so that was crazy I gotta thank my supporters for that I wouldn’t be nothing without them and my team so shout out to my supporters and big big big shout out to Taya I love y’all foreva eva.
