Meet Deana Renee Robinson of Deana Etc. Co & Media

Today we’d like to introduce you to Deana Renee Robinson.

Hi Deana Renee, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began my business Deana Etc. Co in June of 2021. I have a blog, a podcast and a Public Relations Agency. I also work full-time for the City of Yonkers as a Legislative Aide to Councilwoman Shanae Williams. I have become very involved in my city over the last six years because places don’t change themselves, people create the change. My mission in life has always been to “Inspire, uplift & inform” and that’s how I live my day-to-day life. Deana Etc. has allowed me to work with so many great people, business owners and organizations in so many different cities and states and for that, I am so grateful. I’ve worked with Charter Schools, restaurants, local celebrities and countless small businesses. I especially love helping black & brown small businesses gain exposure right here in my community! Just because you don’t have a storefront or office doesn’t mean you’re not running a successful business. I host amazing networking pop-ups every three months or so to help highlight small businesses all over the tri-state area. My last pop-up had over 60 black-owned businesses and I couldn’t be more proud to show them off!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
By the grace of God, my business has been successful from the very launch!!! Now that’s being said things haven’t always been easy there is a ton of work that goes into running a business and keep your business and clients relevant, but I am willing to do what’s necessary to bring Deana Etc and all of my clients to the next level. I have a 9-5, I am a part of a few local organizations and I have two young sons on top of being the CEO of my own business, so time management is essential in my life.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
