Deborah Ware was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana . Today she is a teacher, singer, Author, inspirational inspirer, radio host, and actor. Deborah started her journey of writing in 2021 and has published two books with 13th and Joan Publishing Company. Becoming an Author has opened the door of opportunity for acting and singing. Deborah is currently a lead cast member named Nora “Fancy” Johnson in a film entitled “Black Vinyl” with 480 Music:/Film Production. Today she is the host of her own show “In The Divas Den” on internet radio 926themixx.com every first and 3rd Saturday of each week. Deborah is a Bold, Beautiful and Blessed woman that continues to follow her dreams.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey first off has been beautiful, and I feel I am very blessed! I have had challenges, some negative and some positive .The negative challenges that I feel have been negative was learning that in everything that I do are not going to be accepted by everyone. By this I mean not everyone is going to support your dreams, especially family. When an artist, writer, host does not have family support yes, it does hurt and it disappoints you. I went through a time of feeling depressed and wanted to give up, but found the courage to continue. I was once told by my publisher Ardre Orie, “Deborah family will not be the ones to support you.” After hearing this I began to focus on the support I got from myself and the outsiders that didn’t know me, but cared enough to support my dreams. The next challenge that I encounter is the age difference. In the opinion of some, age matters when support is needed especially in the entertainment world, but to me I have the attitude that age is just a number, I am still very vibrant and energetic. The more inspired Iam the more growth Isee in what I do. My strength to continue to vibe in what I do comes from me reminding myself “Go girl, you can do what they can do even better!” So, I want to leave you with this, I have overcome these challenges with confidence and the self-love for my dreams that I have manifested.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am the boss of my dreams and I am in business to inspire women to love themselves ,and follow their dreams. I remind them to NEVER GIVE UP! My inspiration shows up in my music and writing to help me create the stories shared in my books. On my talk show platform I give others the opportunity to share their talents on my platform by interviewing them on my show and give them the opportunity to tell their stories of their dreams and talent.. I keep it absolutely positive! I have created my brand “Free To Be Me Collection,LLC.” My brand shows that everything I touch, create is developed by me and it was created with the love, affection of totally me. I am totally funded by the funds from the jobs that I do everyday, all of my social media content.
I am most proud of my boldness and confidence with all that I do!
My willingness to share my story in life as a way to help others like me love themselves without needing approval from those that are non-believers of their own dreams. Dreams are made to manifest!
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I have definitely had mentors, supporters and more that have played a big role in my success. Let me begin with my biggest supporter, my love of my life, my husband and God. He is my all and he cheers me on with lots of encouragement. and positivity. My late father whom recognized my ability to all that I am doing in today. My father was a teacher, musician, swimmer, member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity of Grambling State University. Next, My mentor Ardre Orie, Ghostwriter for the stars, owner/CEO of 13th and Joan Publishing, The Orie Agency. Mrs.Orie continues to show me how to be successful as a writer.
