Today we’d like to introduce you to Deon Robertson.
Deon, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I moved to Atlanta in 2012 from Detroit, to change my life. I started driving for a few companies from 2012 to 2015 with a class A CDL license, and in 2015 I met a lady at my gym who happened to be the CEO of studio 11 films. She told me she liked my look and would I like to audition for a show with the comedian “J Anthony Brown” I did, and did great on the pilot show, and got referred to Rodney Perry to do his six-week improv class which we all performed with Rodney on stage at the end. The rest was history I have been doing stage plays, tv shows, movies and writing for the last three years working with many veteran celebrities in the industry, also teamed up with the CEO of Ooogbrand “Street Lotto” and has become one of the clothing lines biggest brand ambassadors.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been a continuous grind and lots of hard work, but overall its been paying off, plus I love my craft so it’s been fun during the process. I know this is what I was called to do because through the hard work and dedication everything has been lining up and getting closer to my ultimate goal every year.

I am an actor that can play any role and make it believable, that’s what sets me apart, some actors are type casted for one specific role in everything they do, I was blessed with the ability to play multiple characters. Also, our ooogbrand is really doing well, our clothing has been on reality tv shows and worn by many celebrities that support our movement.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is God, family, and love. Without all three being together and in order, everything else in your life will be out of order eventually. So I strive to keep God first, then family, and let God lead me to be one of the greatest actors and businessman that ever lived.
