Today we’d like to introduce you to Desiree Mack.

Desiree, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Revived Photography came into existence as I was taking pictures for a T-shirt line (Reborn, Refreshed, Revived). I was creating and needed advertising, so I purchased a camera and realized I enjoyed capturing pictures… the rest has been history. I named my photography business Revived because I wanted to always capture moments that you can always relive. Any captured picture so show life and vibrance.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, it has not always been a smooth road, but that never stopped me. Some struggles I faced were not truly believing that I was just as good as anyone else. I would feel as if my work wasn’t good enough. Instead of me giving up I began to practice every moment I had and it has led me to this point in becoming a success story.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
My photography business focuses on photography in all aspects such as fashion, weddings, family portraits, creative session. You name it, I do it! I am known for my pictures being creative and also my content being vibrant. Something that I am most proud of is the growth that I have gain within just two years. My dedication and hard work allowed me to be here today. What sets me apart from others, I believe, is my heart for people. Not only are they coming to me to have a photography session I want to make the client feel comfortable and confident. It’s not about just the money but about making that session memorable and building a relationship with each client. I am a God-fearing women and when a person encounters a session with me I want them to experience the love of God no matter who they are or where they come from.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
To me, success is define as a goal that has been accomplished. Success in my book is never-ending because there’s always room for growth and goals to accomplished constantly. My criteria for success is quite simple. God, Faith and work. With God at the forefront, you’ll never be lead wrong. Faith in God allows you to see things before they are evident and trusting that God will make it happen in due time. Last but not least, while trusting God, making sure you are putting in the work to be who and what you want to become. You can’t expect anyone to believe and invest in you if you don’t do so yourself. Keep those three things in mind and you’re on your way to success.
