Meet Destiny and Anthony Hampton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Destiny and Anthony Hampton.

Destiny and Anthony Hampton are a married couple that has been together for eight years. Anthony is a New York native and Destiny is an Atlanta native. They met in Atlanta and Destiny moved to New York to be with Anthony and attended NYU School of Dentistry while there. Anthony, who has been an entrepreneur for over 12 years, pushed Destiny to open a Teeth Whitening Studio. She did and it was very successful. She gave birth to their youngest child “August” in April 2018. In March of 2019, The Hamptons decided they wanted to move closer to Destiny’s family and raise August in the south. They moved to Atlanta.

Destiny re-opened her premier teeth whitening studio in Atlanta’s prestigious Buckhead community and Anthony continued his many businesses remotely. In 2020, the pandemic arose and Destiny decided although her business was very successful, It would be in her family’s best interest to close. She decided to sell her business because she didn’t want to risk becoming infected with covid-19 or giving it another family. Anthony & Destiny have always been health conscience and extreme juicers. Anthony and a close friend had invested in a restaurant business prior, and it didn’t go so well, but he knew with his wife’s business expertise it would succeed. They decided to take a huge risk opening an all-organic juice bar mid pandemic. Fresh Squeezed Juice Bar… It’s been very hard but East Cobb has been so welcoming to The Hamptons and has helped them to succeed.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t even been close to a smooth road. We officially got the keys back in July and we didn’t open until October. We went through so much just getting permits to begin construction. We daily fir5e inspection one week before our scheduled grand opening. We were told it would be impossible for us to open by October 24th but we stayed persistent and we got it done.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Anthony is extremely shy, but most people don’t know or believe that Destiny is an introvert, but because she’s a Gemini, people find it hard to believe. Anthony is eight years older than Destiny. Destiny struggled with Post Party depression, which was a big influence in Anthony wanting her to open her business. It was an outlet for her.
