Meet Diamond King of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diamond King.

Hi Diamond, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Before I was a healer, I was an artist
I studied light, where it fell, how it created shadows, the times it was the brightest, when it was the most dim. I people watched, quite often. I sat in silence and just watched people in their day to day movements, admiring how beautiful and precise we were as God’s creatures.
During my days as a photographer, I stumbled into a meditation class that offered sound healing. I fell in love with sound in that very moment! I allowed myself to be enveloped by this artistry in a way that I have never experienced before. I could feel God in this specific modality. In 2014, I started teaching meditation classes with a small Korean group in my neighborhood, which turned out to be a cult 👀🤣. My curiosity lead me to dive deeper into the mind, and learn more about the mechanics and how it works.
Now I stand here offering not just my work as an artist but my work as a healer. I have the pleasure of bridging 11 years worth of healer experience with my 18 years worth of artist experience. After 1 year in a cult, I mentored and trained with a doctor, studying hypnotherapy for 3 years and I continued my work, teaching yoga workshops and doing one on one sound experiences for my co workers and friends. I decided to train under a sound healer I admired very much in 2018 and like many have done only added sound at the end of my yoga classes. My business didn’t really start to expand until Covid when I started coming to individuals houses for Mobile Healing Huddles where I would offer yoga, meditation and sound healing to households because of the lock down and people social distancing. After Covid, I teamed up and partnered with numerous companies and businesses in order to offer Sound to those that required it. It was around this time that I was do 100 day Sadhanas, during this time is when I saw the vision of me playing the gong. I had never desired to play a gong before and also didn’t know much about it but I went with it, and surrendered to what it was that was coming through for me. The more events I did, the more inspired I became to grow my sound library the way an artist would expand its artist tool kit. I listened to my heart as I played and explored new ways to assist individuals to become more heart coherent and relaxed while attending my sound baths. My sound experiences are more like sound orchestras, I don’t just use my instruments, I use my breath, my voice, I utilize the silence between each breath, and I always tap into each person that attends a sound experience so that as I play they are able to fully reserve and fully remember who they are and what they need to release in order to live a life that’s lighter and more authentic.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For me, the craft alone is smooth if you just surrender to the process. 👀🤣 Playing my bowls and instruments has never been challenging that’s always just been such a treat and i love it. However, it’s a very spiritual art form and because of that people put you in a box, they glorify you and color you with the guru archetype. I have to remind people that I am just like them, I AM human! I may well informed and have a lot experience with meditation and spiritual health and wellness but I don’t have a god complex. I am not here to save anyone, I’m only here to remind people who they are through sound and meditation. The keys to a persons healing lies within themselves and truly has nothing to do with me but everything to do with themselves and their relationship with a higher power

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Sound Therapist, Meditation Coach , Retreat Host + Author. I am known for elevated Sound Bath Experiences where I curate deep restorative sound scapes using solfeggio frequency pure tone bowls, endocrine alchemy bowls, the gong, indigenous instruments as well as my voice to assist individuals into moving into a heart coherent space where they move in and out of different brainwaves in order for them to reach states of peace, restoration and sometimes just calm stillness. I am most proud of my work with VTG retreats which is company that contracts me to do one to two retreats a year. I guide meditation and curate yoga experiences locally and internationally. What sets me a part from others is I started on this path as a teenager. Spirituality is not something you take on and off like a hat or a t-shirt it’s a lifestyle. This isn’t a trend this is a way of life, I show up to any space not just ready to share my art and heart but I am here to live in my highest expression always reminding people through my resonance that they can live in their highest expression as well. I show up very real and honest ready to share my gift, share my knowledge and share my experiences. I always let people know that I have experienced and gone through the same things so that I don’t walk in with this inflated ego. That is what sets me apart. I just keep it real!
