Meet Diana Hope-Baker of Healing With Hope Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Hope-Baker.

Hi Diana, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?

I became a therapist 21 years ago, driven by a lifelong impulse to help people find their footing in the face of challenge. I began by serving underserved youth and adults who were entangled with the justice system, witnessing how trauma, systemic barriers, and stigma can derail promising lives. Those early years taught me that healing isn’t a one-size-fits-all process; it requires listening deeply, meeting people where they are, and co-creating pathways that honor each person’s story—especially in a city as diverse and dynamic as Atlanta.

Today, in private practice, I integrate a holistic framework that honors mind, body, and spirit. My work centers on infertility, race based stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, and life transitions, with a particular focus on infertility stemming from my own life journey. I weave spirituality, mindfulness, and body-centered modalities with evidence-based therapy to support clients as they navigate complex personal and cultural landscapes.

I also work with first-generation American adult children, drawing on my own identity to understand the unique challenges they face within multiethnic communities. My approach blends cultural sensitivity with practical strategies, helping clients balance family expectations, career aspirations, and personal growth.

I’m also trained as an RYS 200, sound healer and meditation guide, and I’m guided by the belief that healing is a voyage of connection—to self, to others, and to something greater.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

The road has not always been smooth. COVID intensified many of the same challenges my clients faced, testing our resilience and stretching our resources. The upheaval also brought a pivotal moment for my practice: the decision to close my brick-and-mortar location in response to safety concerns and shifting needs in our community. While difficult, that transition deepened my commitment to holistic, accessible care and forced me to innovate—embracing teletherapy, flexible service delivery, and community partnerships.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
