

Today we’d like to introduce you to DJ Big-B.
DJ Big-B, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am a DJ here in Atlanta, GA… I got the name Big-B as a childhood name I was called that growing up… I was already producing & rapping by the age of 12 & began DJing at the age of 17… I started by uploading my mixes I created on YouTube every week… as I started to do so my views began to grow… After I began doing so created a YouTube series called “Big-B’s Mix Up” in which I would drop a mix every week… I created a buzz off of that & started getting recognized in other countries as I was put on the front of a website in the United Kingdom & Worldstarhiphop for a Michael Jackson mix I did…
Over the following years I now have over 80,000 views on my YouTube Channel, have been nominated as Most Grinding DJ, Hottest East Coast DJ, Rookie DJ of the year & I have deejayed for many major events here in Atlanta including The World Famous Global Winter Wonderland I brought in the New Year for 2014, The First Annual Southside Music Fest in Jonesboro, The 55th Annual Empire Board Of Realists Awards in 2013 and more, I have also deejayed for many clubs popular clubs including, Club Sugar Bush, Ritz, The Sound Table, Metro Lanes & many more… I am the creator of The Deejay Big-B Takeover, On The Grind, Grind Till I Shine & I Am The Streetz mixtape series & I have had the privilege to worked with artists including Roscoe Dash, Cash Out, Sy Ari Da Kid, Trinidad James, Bankroll Fresh, Shawty Lo & more on mixtapes! I was also featured on The Fader.com for a tribute mixtape I did for Speaker Knockerz and I am a member of Shaq’s Diesel Dog Mafia… I am one of his DJ’s for his Station ShaqFuRadio… I do music as well & I am currently in the works of dropping a mixtape soon as well as a new single called “Live Ya Life”.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
