Meet Elizabeth Beall of Double Shot Marketing in Acworth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Beall.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Elizabeth. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My years at Kennesaw State University were nothing short of amazing. I was a social butterfly, a gym addict, and I ate, slept, and breathed marketing. I surrounded myself with go-getters, helped found the Kennesaw Marketing Association, took the lead on group projects, and constantly networked with other professionals. I was born a people-person, and that’s exactly how and why I help businesses today.

It was after a project on Coca-Cola’s social media strategy and an influential marketing manager teacher that I knew marketing was my calling; I wanted to create the connection between businesses and their target audience, just like Coca-Cola, and I was learning everyday how to do it.

During my last semester in college, I went from a killer internship at Modo Modo Agency to a full-time freelance marketer. I dipped my toes in many different industries, learned the ins and outs of content, copywriting, and branding, and gained the knowledge for owning my own business. Eight months later, Double Shot Marketing was born.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
As an entrepreneur, I tend to second-guess myself and often look for ways to stay driven or motivated toward a specific goal, simply because I’m always thinking ahead and asking “what’s next?”.

My biggest ambition thus far has been my company, Double Shot, and inevitably, I’ve had a lot of start-and-stop kind of moments.

In the beginning, I questioned whether or not I was capable, yet every time I doubted myself or lost motivation I would have an email or call presenting me with a new opportunity, a fresh idea, or a boost of confidence. I can’t call it anything other than what it is — a God thing.

Needless to say, I’ve had some very impactful blessings in disguise and I am incredibly thankful for where they have lead me to today.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Double Shot Marketing – what should we know?
I’d like to think I give brands a “wake-up call” with Double Shot of marketing.

My company specializes in copywriting, content strategy, and brand development using a proven approach that I’ve nicknamed “the DS methodology”: discovery, market research, strategic planning, and continuous management.

By immersing myself in a market and speaking directly to the target audience through a customized strategy, I help maximize the company’s most profitable revenue stream while growing their market share.

What sets me apart from the rest is my ability and willingness to listen, digest, and adapt. It’s too often nowadays that marketing becomes a repeatable task, rather than an on-going trial and error strategy.
