Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Del Sines and his wife as well as Office Manager, Brooke Sines.
Dr. Del Sines is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He moved to Georgia in 2005 to attend Chiropractic College at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Upon graduating with his Doctorate of Chiropractic, he worked alongside two other Chiropractors before he and his wife Brooke opened Sines & Spines Chiropractic in Dallas, Georgia where he now practices. He and his wife also reside in Dallas where they enjoy giving back to and being a part of the community.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely been a difficult road for us. Not only are we business partners, but we are also husband and wife. So it can be equally as exhausting as it can be rewarding in that aspect.
We have faced issues with everything from insurance companies not paying to previous associates and CPAs trying to take advantage of us financially. We have really had some trying times and I am just skimming the surface because it would take pages to narrate them all and we have made it a point not to “look back” per say. At this point though, we are heading into our third year of practice (actually this week marks the anniversary of our office opening) and we have grown exponentially and really feel good about where we are and the direction we are heading so we feel it was all worth the struggle.
Sines & Spines Chiropractic – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We are different in the aspect that we are not a one size fits all healthcare clinic by any means. We treat each patient individually based on their specific healthcare needs and our care is always tailor made for each patient. Most healthcare facilities are just herding cattle through for lack of a better term. We just refuse to be that, that is not what we set out to do in the Chiropractic care world. We are open 6 days a week, you will only see Dr. Sines as your provider, he spends more than 5 minutes in a room with you, he communicates with you. You get REAL treatment and healthcare when you come to us and that is what makes us different. Real healthcare for real people.
What we are most proud of as a company is a patient comes in, say it is just Mom or Dad, and before we know it we are seeing their children and then Grandma and Grandpa and then here comes Aunt and Uncle and then they send their kids and grandkids and so on and so on! Before we know it, we are seeing 3 and 4 generations of whole families and we are like “WOW” we have got to be doing something right. How much do they have to trust us to send their entire families to see us and let us take care of them?! It is amazing and so rewarding!
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
A few moments come to mind, like a baby falling asleep in my arms as I adjust them or a patient hugging me and thanking me for helping them get their life back. A new mom thanking for me helping her newborn. A patient dropping a card and a homemade cake or pie by because they felt so good they wanted to say thank you. The gratitude from the patient’s I have helped are really my proudest moments by far.
