Kirk is a dentist determined to perform his services with something that could prevent further decay in the tooth. His idea was to place some kind of anti-microbial agent or barrier under the filling, so the bacteria are prevented from further destroying the tooth. If the filling leaked, which they often do around the edges, the bacteria would be stopped or killed, allowing the filling to last a lot longer. This is how the great story behind fiteBac begins. The novel concept required a plan, and a team of researchers to investigate, develop, verify and produce. During the process, the team developed a game-changing Germicidal Hand Gel – fiteBac SkinCare. The novel chemistry can produce hundreds and hundreds of new molecules. How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
With the current state of hospital-acquired infections, and new superbugs that are becoming more and more resistant to antibiotics the need for new antimicrobial and germicidal technology is exploding.
