Dr. Johnson, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have always known that I wanted to provide great healthcare to those in need. Last year, I was in a car accident. I guess it was God’s way of sitting me down and making me think. I was working at a good company with great benefits, but something was still missing. I knew that once I started to feel better that I wanted to get back to doing what I knew I should be doing, and that was providing great healthcare to those in need. I found an office in Riverdale, Georgia, and decided to open Lotus Family Wellness Clinic. We opened in December of 2018. We provide primary care services to people from 6 months of age and older.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been some challenges along the way. It took longer than I expected to get in-network with some of the insurance companies. Also, some insurance companies said that they had enough providers in the area and that we could not be in network with them.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Lotus Family Wellness Clinic – what should we know?
We provide primary care services to a patient’s six months of age and older. We also provide weight loss services and IV hydration. We are different because we truly care for our patient’s, and we are dedicated to helping our patient’s feel better.
