Meet Dwayne Joseph of Framed.Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dwayne Joseph.

Hi Dwayne, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Dwayne Jerome, and I wanted to reach out to share my updated story and the journey that led me to where I am today.

Some of you may remember me from years ago—I was actually interviewed by VoyageATL about 10 years back when I was in college and building my first creative brand, originally called Dwayne Jerome Studios (and at one point Entertainment Network / ENTNET). If possible, I would love for you to link that original article to this updated feature, as it represents the start of my creative path.

Today, I run Framed.Atlanta, a photography brand based in Atlanta, Georgia. We specialize in delivering captivating prints and digital portraits for weddings, private events, and personal clients across the city. Our mission is centered on creating instant framed prints with a timeless, vintage-inspired feel—capturing moments with intention, creativity, and care.

We offer both stationed booth photography and free-roam coverage, allowing us to blend naturally into events. For clients who want something elevated, our Deluxe Polaroid Package delivers 4K-quality portraits with on-site printing, mixing high-resolution imagery with the immediacy of vintage-style keepsakes. Guests can also customize their experience with framed prints or fridge magnets.

Beyond entrepreneurship, my journey includes a strong background in film and media. I’ve worked as a production assistant with Disney, Hulu, and FX Studios, contributing to shows like The Kindred, Ordinary Joe, Will Trent, and most recently, Chad Powers. I’ve also built experience as a brand ambassador representing Sprite, BeatBox, Netflix, Delta, and the PGA 2025 Championship.

My IMDB profile and portfolio are available to include if needed.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. I’d be honored to reconnect with VoyageATL and share how far the journey has come since our first interview.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of my biggest struggles early on was not having enough people willing to help or enough reliable workers. I was doing everything myself—booking, shooting, editing, delivering—and it burned me out. Today, I’m grateful to say I have a strong team and can comfortably run up to five events in a day, but getting here took time and a lot of trial and error.

Another challenge was navigating platforms like Groupon and Thumbtack. They helped bring in clients, but they also took hundreds of dollars just for leads or cut into my profits so deeply that it barely felt worth it. On top of that, some payouts took months, which made it tough to reinvest back into my business and keep things moving smoothly.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At Framed.Atlanta, we’re all about creating photography experiences that feel personal, nostalgic, and unforgettable. We specialize in instant framed prints, digital portraits, and event photography for weddings, parties, brand activations, and private clients across Atlanta. What makes our brand unique is the way we blend a modern approach to photography with a vintage-inspired aesthetic—giving clients high-quality images and something they can hold in their hands immediately.

We offer two main styles of coverage:

Stationed booth photography, where guests can step into a beautifully lit setup for portraits and framed prints.

Free-roam coverage, where we move throughout your event capturing candid moments, interactions, and genuine emotion.

For clients wanting something elevated, our Deluxe Polaroid Package delivers 4K-quality portraits with instant on-site printing, merging high-resolution digital photography with the charm of instant film. Guests can also personalize their keepsakes with framed prints, fridge magnets, or custom designs—turning every moment into something they can take home and treasure.

What sets Framed.Atlanta apart is the experience. Anyone can take pictures, but we focus on connection: making guests comfortable, celebrating the vibe of the event, and creating lasting memories that feel authentic. Our background in film and media also helps us bring a sense of storytelling and professionalism to everything we do.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that consistency and adaptability are everything.
