Meet Ebonee Abby of Diamanté Publications in Snellville

My life has never been easy and being diagnosed with Lupus at age 25 was no different. It was simply another war I could gear up for. I wrote my life story to raise awareness to this terrible disease and once I did I realized I had a gift that needed to be shared with the world. After self-publishing, a few of my books my husband suggested that we start our own publishing company.

The funny thing is a friend of mine had been telling me that for years but I really just wanted to write my stories. I realized one day that due to that status of my health I needed to create my own lane if I wanted to remain on the road because Lupus is a Life sentence. It can be controlled but not cured. I was going to make it work for me. My children deserved that much. They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and this journey has taken me on a roller coaster but there is nothing I can’t get through if I can handle this. I’m a wife, a mother of 3 and a boss! The bosses boss to be exact! I couldn’t ask for anything more out of life.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Nothing in life is smooth if it’s worth having it’s worth the fight. Some books I’ve written were best sellers and some weren’t but I’ve never let the word NO stop me that simply means I’m not working hard enough and I need to go harder.
