Today we’d like to introduce you to Elaine Burgalin.
Hi Elaine, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Absolutely! My name is Elaine Burgalin and I am a 28 year old Atlanta native. My interest in this career path started while working as a preschool teacher where I found much enjoyment out of decorating my classroom for the kids. My decorations would always be over the top because I am a person who really loves things to stand out! One day while working however I realized that although I loved the kids, I could no longer see myself working for someone else and wanted to take my talents elsewhere. I made the decision that day to start my own business and began a company focused on creating custom party decorations for various venues and events.
After spending time in the party decoration space, I realized just how competitive that industry is here in the Atlanta area and was also lucky enough to stumble across the flower wall business. I quickly noticed that not many people in Georgia offered a flower wall service at the time, so I decided to jump in headfirst and begin my adventure into the space. My company is going on it’s third year creating and renting flower walls in which I am still growing and learning every single day. I have learned to love the industry as it always provides new opportunities to expand my talent and leaves me grateful for the ability to provide a life for my family while doing something that I enjoy. My ultimate goal is, and will always be, creating and bringing my clients vision to life as I love experiencing their happiness from the art. I’m a true designer, interior decorator, and artist. You name it, I can create it or improve its design, just ask!
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but of course, it’s never easy at the beginning when in the process of really learning and trying to navigate through a new business. I take every day as an opportunity to expand my understanding of the industry and to improve my abilities so that I am always offering the highest level of service and end designs to my loyal customers.

I specialize in artificial flower walls or grass walls for homes, events, weddings, and commercial companies. I can customize both the flower wall and grass wall options in whatever way you can imagine. I’m very proud of my growth and how hard I’ve pushed myself and this company as it can be very discouraging, especially at the beginning when trying to start something that no one sees the potential in. I can confidently state that what sets me apart from other individuals in the space is being both a designer, interior decorator, and artist. My ability to create or customize is only limited by your imagination, I am always excited to take on a new challenge!
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My biggest supporters throughout this process were definitely my mother and my sister. Without their help, I would not have been able to push myself this hard and get myself this far. Anytime I feel discouraged about something that I or the company is going through, my mother always says just the right thing to put me in the right mindset and get me back on track. My sister is also extremely talented and helps me with the business in any way she can while always keeping me balanced along the way!
