Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Ereddia.
Elizabeth, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
About 20 years ago I was faced with endometriosis and did not like what the doctors were telling me. I thought “there must be a better way for myself.” At this point in my life, I was introduced to a more natural way of living. I began studying nutrition, herbal medicines and natural modalities for well being. With some persistence and a desire to feel better, I overcame my endometriosis. This experience filled me with passion to continue to learn more about healthy living and a desire to empower others with knowledge and encouragement.
In 2002 I graduated from Rising Spirit of Natural Health with a certificate in massage therapy. I have continued my education and have studied many modalities such as neuromuscular therapy, visceral (organ) massage, prenatal and postnatal massage, Chinese medical massage, Reiki, spa therapies, fertility massage, and womb massage.
In 2008 I began studying with many great herbalist mentors such as Aviva Romm, Susan Weed, Rosemary Gladstar, and Patricia Howell – just to name a few. I have attended herbal conferences for the past 10 years and have been a member of the Georgia Herbalist Guild.
In 2011 I became a certified Wellness Coach. This training has really helped me tie together all of my skills. I take a whole person approach, looking at all the elements of a person’s life and I customize protocols to help create gentle shifts for long-term benefits.
A few years ago, I decided to focus my practice on women’s health and well being. I offer one on one wellness coaching, massage therapy, womb massage, fertility massage, prenatal and postnatal massage, Chinese medical massage, Reiki, yoni steaming, educational classes, and herbal care products.
Has it been a smooth road?
No. As a home birthing, homeschooling, crunchy mom, I am busy. In life we have constant changes happening. I have learned to be gentle with myself and being flexible with life, allows more grace in following your passions.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Mamma Bizz – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
January 2018 I started Mamma Bizz. At Mamma Bizz my specialty is Women’s Health and Well Being. I provide Wellness Coaching, Womb massage, Fertility massage, Prenatal massage, postnatal massage, Massage therapy, Yoni steaming, educational classes, and herbal care products.
It has been such a pleasure to help women overcome health issues, naturally! When dealing with such discomforts these issues can bring a feeling of isolation and hopelessness. I really love to connect with my clients so they do not feel alone in this process. I share guidance and empower my clients with knowledge so they are learning to better care for themselves.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the abundance of diversity here in Georgia. I am a nature loving girl and love to get out into the woods but, I also love to creep out into the city to experience the wide variety of culture and arts.
The thing I do not like about our city is the constant highway construction and traffic!
