Thanks for sharing your story with us Erica. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Hello, my name is Erica Mack. I am from Atlanta, GA. I am an entrepreneur and a signed fashion model. I started doing runway and print modeling at the age of 17. I started my own business, Glowed by Erica, at the age of 22. I am a certified teeth whitening specialist and I am certified in body sculpting as well. After I graduate from Georgia State with a Sociology degree, I will be getting my Esthetician license here in Atlanta.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Runway and print modeling is a very competitive field. There were obstacles along the way, such as people not respecting my time and my talent. With my business, it sometimes became a headache getting things in order and also believing in myself. Also, it took me a little while to realize that the only way I can run a legit, smooth business is to invest in myself.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
My business, Glowed by Erica, is a body sculpting and teeth whitening spa. My body sculpting services include Laser Lipo, Lipo Cavitation, RF Skin Tightening and Cellulite Treatment. I plan on expanding and adding services such as facials and waxes. I am proud of my growth as a person from my business and what sets me apart from others is my southern hospitality.
