Meet Ethan King of Stuff4GREEKS, Zeus’ Closet, and SIMPLE Success Systems

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ethan King.

Hi Ethan, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I didn’t start with a master plan.

I started with curiosity. Creativity. And honestly, a lot of trial and error.

I was an art major in college. I loved ideas. I loved design. I loved figuring out how things could look and feel better. But I had no roadmap for how that translated into business. While I was still in school, I co-founded stuff4GREEKS. What began as custom apparel for fraternities and sororities slowly turned into a real company. We weren’t just printing shirts. We were helping organizations express identity and pride through what they wore.

It wasn’t glamorous.

There were seasons of cash flow stress. Missed opportunities. Production mistakes. Learning leadership the hard way. My wife and I built it together, and there were nights we wondered if we were crazy for sticking with it. Later, we launched Zeus’ Closet here in Atlanta, a premium custom embroidery studio. We grew. We evolved. We served schools, businesses, celebrities, even created jackets worn on the Grammys.

But growth did not come from hustle alone.

When I was ten years old, my family moved to West Africa because it was my mother’s dream. She worked with the Peace Corps and took her four kids with her. I watched villagers spend entire mornings washing clothes by hand in the river. Piece by piece. Slow and repetitive.

Years later, running my own businesses, I realized most entrepreneurs were doing the same thing. Manually typing the same emails. Repeating the same processes. Copying and pasting their way through growth.

That image stayed with me.

So I became obsessed with building the “washing machine” for as many business processes as possible. Making things SIMPLE. Not easy. Simple. Clear systems. Clean workflows. Fewer moving parts.

Long before AI was popular, I was automating pieces of our apparel businesses just to survive. When AI exploded into the mainstream, I didn’t see hype. I saw leverage. A way to automate your success. A way to give leaders their time back.

Today, I teach leaders how to fuse human creativity with intelligent systems. I’ve written “Wealth Beyond Money” and “ChatGPT To Double Your Business In 90 Days.” I’m hired around the world as an AI keynote speaker, helping business leaders fuse human creativity with intelligent systems and embrace an automation-first culture. I served as president of Entrepreneurs’ Organization Atlanta and have been fortunate to receive global recognition for innovation and marketing.

But the deeper message I share is this: You can have it all.

Not all at once. Not without recalibration. But you can design a life that integrates spirituality, intellect, money, physical health, love, and experiences. That’s my SIMPLE framework. Constant contextual calibration, like airplane wings adjusting mid-flight.

I’ve had wins. I’ve had setbacks. I’ve doubted myself. I’ve rebuilt.

And through all of it, I’ve learned this: success gets lighter when you eliminate friction. When you automate what drains you. When you design intentionally instead of reacting constantly.

My story isn’t about AI. It’s about agency.

It’s about proving that you can build systems that support your dream life instead of consuming it.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not even close to smooth.

Early last decade, we were hit with a brutal legal battle. An organization we’d trusted for years betrayed us. We were already running on thin margins, and suddenly we had legal bills we couldn’t afford. Debt piled up. I had to let team members go. Others quit because I couldn’t pay them.

I remember standing there thinking, Is this the end?

I chose to fight.

But I didn’t have money to hire help. So I learned. I taught myself marketing automation. Keep in mind, I was an art major, not a tech guy. I built simple email and social systems to generate leads without adding payroll.

I launched my first email sequence, went to bed praying it would work, and woke up to over 100 new leads overnight. Then more the next day. And the next. We built automated follow-up systems that converted a percentage of those leads on autopilot.

We not only survived. We doubled revenue and profit with half the staff.

That season changed me. It taught me that you don’t scale by grinding harder. You scale by making things SIMPLE. By adopting an automation-first mindset. By building systems that automate your success.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about I own 3 businesses: stuff4GREEKS, Zeus’ Closet, and SIMPLE Success Systems?
I own and operate multiple businesses, and each one reflects a different side of how I think about growth.

stuff4GREEKS is a national ecommerce brand serving fraternities, sororities, and legacy organizations. We create high-end custom Greek apparel and paraphernalia that members keep for life. It is not fast fashion. It is identity. It is pride stitched into fabric. We specialize in premium custom line jackets and detailed embroidery that turn milestones into heirlooms.

Zeus’ Closet is our Atlanta-based custom apparel studio. I like to describe it as a tattoo shop for your clothes. If you can imagine it, we can put it on a jacket, hoodie, or hat. We serve schools, corporations, film and television productions, and high-profile clients who want something bold and personal. What sets us apart is craftsmanship. We obsess over detail. Placement. Texture. Finish. We do rush jobs when others say no. And we treat every garment like a canvas.

Then there is SIMPLE Success, my AI and automation agency. This is where my obsession with systems lives. We help business owners eliminate friction, build profit-focused workflows, and automate your success using AI and intelligent marketing systems. Not theory. Implementation. Clear strategy. Practical execution.

What sets me apart across all three businesses is this: I am not a tech founder who talks about AI in the abstract. I am a traditional business owner who uses it in the trenches. I have scaled manufacturing. Ecommerce. Retail. Service. I have hired and fired. Lost and rebuilt. So when I teach leaders how to use AI or automation, it comes from experience, not experimentation.

We do not chase trends. We build durable value. We focus on quality. We focus on relationships. We focus on making complex things SIMPLE. Whether it is a custom jacket or an AI workflow, our core values remain the same: Promises, Accuracy, Logic, Lifelong Learning, and Systems.

I’m also co-host of the King Moves podcast.
