Eva, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I come from a family of strong female entrepreneurs. I’ve had exemplary role models to look up to in my journey and have seen first hand the triumphs, struggles, and hard work it takes to build and grow a business. Equipped with a marketing degree and a successful career in sales in the B2B gift industry, I decided it was time to follow their entrepreneurial footsteps.
Leveraging my experience and passion, I took a leap of faith and began my online business journey as a sales & marketing consultant for product-based home and lifestyle brands. Through the course of helping others, I learned that the most successful businesses solve a problem. After months of research on the computer, countless headaches, and many sleepless nights, I discovered a problem glaring back at me, blue light. This led to the development of my own product line; Gleam Eyewear.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
As a mom, wife, and business owner, the road has certainly been bumpy. Juggling priorities, dodging mom guilt, and finding the time to successfully execute my many roles and responsibilities have been difficult at times. However, I’m no stranger to hard work and humility. I have learned to focus, set goals, and give myself some grace.

Gleam Eyewear is an indie brand of anti-blue light computer glasses designed for the modern working woman. Our lens technology filters harmful blue light that can cause eye fatigue, blurry vision, insomnia, and headaches. They not only help alleviate the negative effects of digital eye strain, but they’re also comfortable, lightweight and fashion-forward. Gleam Eyewear empowers women to feel confident and protected while building their businesses, corporate careers, and side hustles.

Although I’m inspired by the women in my family, my husband is my biggest supporter. He always believes in me and gives me the confidence I need to go through this crazy entrepreneurial roller coaster. I also credit my daughter for showing me unconditional love and giving me the strength to be the best woman and role model I can be.
